Indian organization ‘Educate Girls’ has been selected for the 2025 Ramon Magsaysay Award, becoming the first Indian organization to win this prestigious Asian honor.
‘Educate Girls’ thanked the central government for its support. The organization works to bring education to girls in remote villages who are often kept out of school due to cultural conservatism.
It has reached over 30,000 villages and, with the help of more than 55,000 volunteers, inspired over 2 million children to pursue education. The 67th Ramon Magsaysay Award ceremony will be held on November 7 in Manila.
