Amidst of Ganpati celebration, actress Rani Mukerji lends her name for a good cause, inaugurates the centre of excellence for Mother and Child care at Hinduja Hospital.
Rani Mukerji inaugurated the new mother and child care unit at Hinduja hospital in Mumbai, on Thursday. She was wearing a black colour kurta with white colour detailing paired with the same colour pants. The actress opted for subtle makeup and left her hair open.
Rani, who is known for her acting skills, has been putting her name for good use after becoming a mother to a baby girl. Rani thanked the entire team of senior doctors present there for opening such a unit.
Mukerji is involved with humanitarian causes and is vocal about issues faced by women and children.
On the work front, Rani Mukerji was last seen in Ashima Chibber’s legal drama film Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway.
The film, which also stars Anirban Bhattacharya, Neena Gupta, and Jim Sarbh, is based on the true incident of an Indian couple whose children were forcefully taken away by Norwegian authorities in 2011.
Mukerji is married to filmmaker Aditya Chopra, with whom she has a daughter, Adira Chopra.
