KULR Technology Expands Bitcoin Holdings to $50 Million
On Tuesday, KULR Technology Group, Inc. (NYSE: KULR) announced it has increased its Bitcoin holdings by an additional $8 million, bringing the total value of its Bitcoin acquisitions to $50 million.
The company made the new purchases at an average price of $101,695 per Bitcoin, factoring in fees and expenses. With these additions, KULR now owns 510 Bitcoins.
This move is part of KULR’s ongoing Bitcoin Treasury Strategy, which was initially unveiled on December 4, 2024. The strategy commits the company to holding up to 90% of its surplus cash reserves in Bitcoin.
So far in 2025, KULR has seen a Bitcoin Yield of 127%, benefiting from a mix of surplus cash and its At-The-Market (ATM) equity program to fund these acquisitions.
Bitcoin Yield is a key performance metric for the company’s strategy. It is calculated as the percentage change, period to period, in the ratio of KULR’s Bitcoin holdings to its fully diluted shares outstanding.
Stock Movement: As of Tuesday morning, KULR stock rose by 3.51% to $2.35 in premarket trading.
