Jio Institute successfully hosted ViewPoint 2023, an HR conclave that explored the intersection of AI and HR, highlighting how these technologies are reshaping recruitment, management, and workforce development.
The conclave aimed to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration among HR professionals from diverse industries. It featured interactive sessions addressing contemporary business challenges and emerging HR trends.
Harjeet Khanduja, Senior VP – HR, Reliance Jio, set the tone with a special address, emphasizing the effective use of AI for data-driven decision-making. This was followed by two impactful panel discussions.
The first panel explored the theme “Navigating Megatrends: AI in HR”, offering insights from Ms Kokila Roy (Senior Director – Digital Transformation, GEP Worldwide), Ms Shweta Chandrashekar (Director – HR, Gupshup Technology), Mr Hemant Sethiya (Director – Talent and Recruiting, UBS) and Mr Subhanish Malhotra (Vice President, HR, Welspun Living). This panel delved into how AI in HR is driving automated recruitment, personalized learning, and predictive analytics, while also addressing diversity, equity, and well-being for a more efficient and inclusive workplace.
The second panel focused on “Emerging Trends in AI and Employment Opportunities”, featuring perspectives from Mr Amit Sawant (Associate Director – Human Capital, PwC India), Mr Satej Mehta (General Manager – HR, Wockhardt Ltd.), Ms Pradnya Sawant (CHRO, Vedanta Sesa Met Coke Division), and Ms Major Pratima Pinto Thomas (CHRO, Fino Payments Bank). This panel focused on emerging trends in AI that are creating new employment opportunities for professionals, shaping the workforce of the future.
