New Delhi: At the prestigious All India Forensic Science Summit held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, Ankit Dev Arpan, a native of Bagaha, West Champaran (Bihar), was conferred with two national awards for his outstanding contribution to Hindi language promotion and academic excellence in forensic studies.
The summit, organized by the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar, witnessed the participation of forensic science experts and agencies from over 30 countries. The inaugural session was graced by Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah.
On April 13, a day prior to the summit, the university also hosted a Hackathon and Forensic Film Symposium. During the inaugural ceremony, winners of the hackathon and inter-university Hindi competitions were honored, recognizing their unique contributions.
Among the Hindi competition winners, Ankit Dev Arpan, currently pursuing his LLM in Cyber Law at NFSU Gandhinagar, emerged as a standout achiever. A passionate cyber law practitioner, he is also the founder of a Writers’ Community dedicated to the promotion of Hindi language, which he has been actively leading for the past five years.
While receiving the award, Ankit expressed his gratitude:
“It is a matter of great pride that the Hindi language is being celebrated on such a prominent national and international platform. This award motivates me further to continue promoting Hindi while advancing in the field of cyber law.”
He extended his heartfelt thanks to NFSU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. J. M. Vyas, Campus Director Prof. Dr. S. O. Junare, Hindi Officer Shri Vinod Kumar Pandey, Law School Dean Prof. Dr. Poorvi Pokhariyal, and his professors Dr. Biswa Kalyan Das and Dr. Deepak Mashru, along with his parents for their constant support.
Other winners in the Hindi competitions included Manisha Rawat from the Bhopal campus and Shashank Arjuna from the Delhi campus.
Ankit’s recognition at a national level symbolizes the growing respect for regional languages in technical and legal domains, and marks a moment of pride for Bihar and the Hindi-speaking community.
